Mark Twain once said “Brevity is the soul of wit.” 140-character messages, used effectively, can go far and make a big impact. Twitter has been extensively used in political campaigns, and has been banned in some countries because of its power to spread viral messages. In this class, you will learn:

  • How to set up and customize your Twitter account
  • How to determine what type of message is appropriate to post on Twitter vs. other platforms
  • How to use “hashtags” to follow real-time developments on topics of interest to your industry
  • How to use Twitter to monitor what people are publicly saying about your organization
